Established in 1968 as Horndean Antiques and Absolute Furniture we are a small, skilled team dedicated to designing, making and restoring and will turn your ideas and treasured items of furniture into stunning pieces you will be delighted in.

Our team includes:
David Roebuck
David is the owner of the business and has 45 years experience working with wood and cabinet making. He is passionate about woodwork and enjoys working to a demanding specification. David produces quality pieces of traditional and modern furniture and will lovingly restore tables, chairs, bookcases, and many other items.
John Horn
With a background in engineering John trained in woodwork and uses these skills to bring an artistic flair to designing modern and contemporary furniture and making specialist items beautifully carved, turned and finished. John also enjoys restoring antique furniture and has expertise in wood turning and carving.
Derek Sexton
Derek came to us for work experience while still at school. He then went to Chichester college to do a wood machining course and won an award for his end of year piece. In March of this year he joined us as our apprentice and has continued at college. In June he won a wood machining award as well as a Distinction for the modern chair he designed and made. He has quickly become a welcome addition to our small team.
